I have always had a great love of the outdoors and that soon progressed into translating what I felt about my surroundings into art. Many a time I work with what I feel about somewhere, other times it is what I see, but the one thing I find intensely satisfying is when I can create a mood I am feeling or sensing about a landscape I find particularly beautiful, and it is more atmosphere I seek than anything else.

For quite some time now I have been working on something different; something unique in style and unique in how it is done. For many many years I have worked with math and created my own fractals but something within me wanted to change the way they were produced and presented. I looked around everywhere and could never find anything like what I wanted to do until one day I realized I was looking at the wrong math and in fact, my math had very little to do with what I wanted in my abstract mood art. Finding it was one thing, finding a computer I could use that could render my efforts for a week was another, but I succeeded and created impasto fractal imaging - but all are mixed with "some" traditional painting or digital painting, or a lot of traditional painting. None are raw "as is" images, but the thickness you can see on the image is truly math based. I hope you enjoy this gallery as I feel I have created something truly unique.

Fractal Art. I create these images always with my own math. There is no work where the computer does it all for me, which would be far easier but no satisfaction. Some have other elements a
dded, but you will see that clearly. Fractals can be extremely beautiful, others tend towards total abstract where I doubt anyone could make something out of, but every fractal is created with not only mathematics in mind, but in what I will arrive at once I have entered x=y. It is a very advanced computer art form, and the prints are a sheer delight to the eyes as no camera has some between what you get as a print, and what I have created.

Graphic Design Patterns and Artwork of Varied Mediums focusing on seamless pattern work aimed at decor and artists. If you would like one of these as a download please contact me.
Mandala Art : The mandala pattern is used in many religious traditions. Hildegard von Bingen, a Christian nun in the 12th century, created many beautiful mandalas to express her visions and beliefs. In the Americas, Indians have created medicine wheels and sand mandalas. The circular Aztec calendar was both a timekeeping device and a religious expression of ancient Aztecs. In Asia, the Taoist "yin-yang" symbol represents opposition as well as interdependence. Tibetan mandalas are often highly intricate illustrations of religious significance that are used for meditation.
Simply put - I love creating mandala art and designs - that is when I retreat within and bring whatever there is to the fore. It's also a little break from the brushes. :)
Purchase Modern Contemporary Art
Art within this gallery is all mostly from my imagination be they surreal or abstract. All are very contemporary and are created by traditional painting means, digital paintings and compositions, and sometimes the combination of both. This is more a gallery where I let go and simply let my imagination take over even when a work tends to contain some realism the result is extremely imaginary even when very recognizable. I would classify this as my experimental gallery.
Purchase Figurative Portrait and Vintage Art
Ever since my first ever visit to an art gallery in London I was completely mesmerized by the beautiful paintings of the old Masters who created portraits and figurative art that appeared to leap off the canvas. I then had a dream - I dearly wanted to be an art restorer who worked in an art museum but my career apart from art took me in another direction, but that didn't stop me doing some reproductions of the Old Masters. I no longer do these works, but I learned so much technique from them and gained a goodly amount of clients in the mean time. We each have a body, a face, and a soul. I seek to translate these into fine art.

Be it abstract realism, abstract expressionism or pure expressionism it is somewhere I rely on feelings, emotions and the translating of such into works of art. I find abstract art the most challenging genre of all. This may be because I took baby steps into the world of abstract exploration as I come from being a complete hyper-realist painter, and yet it could be as simple as a natural progression as I mature as a woman and as an artist. I am unsure of the answers, but I adore allowing myself the permission to explore from within.

Purchase Animal And Bird Art
Birds that fly. Birds that don't fly. Painted birds, photographs, mixed media, and many varied methods in between. Animals of the wild or domesticated, the gift of nature is animals and birds.
Decorate In Monochrome
Some images look so beautiful in black and white that occasionally I create a black and white version in the correct tones for that image. Other times the image starts out black and white. Black and White Gallery also encompasses sepia and monochrome artwork for those who love the classic appearance.
Purchase Floral Art Prints
Floral art represents an almost sensual experience for me, after all, flowers are sensual particularly when viewed as macro. My floral art comes in many different forms such as macro, paintings,"pastel "painting","oil and acrylic","textured photography", and just about everything you can artistically imagine.
My love of floral art started in my childhood both with my parents and my grandparents who opened my eyes to the beauty of each flower in their gardens. It became a hobby of mine as a child of 5 to pick flowers from anyone's garden just for their beauty. Yes, I was a 5 year old thief, but it wasn't long after that that flowers became a source of artistic inspiration and remain so today.
All images and more can be purchased at the link below. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy viewing what nature has to offer.
Purchase Still Life Fine Art
Still life fine art is a genre that I find peaceful and soothing, or at the very least that is how my preferred method of creating a still life evolves. Now and again I tend to come out with something bright, gaudy even, but it is rare. Time and time again I return to the silence and beauty of art that is still and tranquil, rather like something to be savored.
You like good movies don't you? You like scenes that are the almost unimaginable? Yes. That is why I like working in 3D. It's a medium where I am in total control of my world, and yet I use that to transmit varying emotions even from places or events I have never experienced. Working artistically in 3D is like living a fantasy in a healthy way. It is also extremely intense and difficult work and most enjoyable to allow my mind to wander to imagined locations.
Artworks are all started in Vue Infinite and later worked in Adobe Photoshop for effects rather like you enjoy in the movies.
Prints are available from onsite here or from the link below.
You will find these works in other galleries, although not at the size of these, but I also believe they deserve a gallery of their own in honor of the master's who taught me by the heritage they left to each of us. Many years ago I purchased the rights to print and/or paint from a select group of past Masters. In life, other than on internet, I have sold many of these as oil paintings and am only now deciding to release a few for purchase as prints, or merely for viewing pleasure. Many are freehand digitally painted, and others are oils, but I will not be releasing the original reference images I purchased as nothing of me went into those, and I see no honor or dedication in such. All took me over 100 hours each to faithfully reproduce to the very best of my ability; often with magnifying glass in hand. When studying, this was part of my fine art studies and for me, it is not only an honor to do, it has also been a massive and intensive learning curve. I hope you enjoy viewing these works reproduced by my hand in honor, and dedication, to past Masters who showed we artists to follow the light to fine art. Please contact me if you would like a reproduction work painted for you as I take commissions on a regular basis. I don't believe for one second I have done one of these Masters their due, but it was a most beautiful pleasure to try.
